Adopt-A-Cop BJJ Program

Harrison County BJJ proudly supports those who protect and serve.

Many of our instructors and students are involved in law enforcement. That is why we are a certified member of Adopt-A-Cop BJJ. This is a nonprofit program that reimburses membership fees for active duty police officers training at affiliated Brazilian jiu jitsu gyms.

5 Most Important Reasons Police Officers Should Train BJJ:
-
Reduce your risk of injury by knowing how to protect yourself.
-
Reduce the risk of injury to others you will interact with on the job.
-
You will learn techniques that give you the ability to de-escalate or escalate the amount of force needed to control a suspect as the situation demands.
-
Your fitness level will improve.
-
You will learn to regulate intense emotions in a controlled setting.
